Jarrad D. Blade Foundation Scholarship 

A Life and Legacy of Motivating, Impacting, and Empowering Communities 

“Stepping stones provide opportunity.  In return one gains experience and knowledge that prepares you for your future. Stay the course and continue to build your legacy each stepping stone at a time”

The Scholarship Program was established in memory of Jarrad Denard Blade.  The scholarship provides monetary gifts and incentive packages to young black men between the ages of 11-19 for financial aid and encouragement for advanced opportunities in academics, spiritual, social, and physical enhancement.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Young black male that is a senior in high school.  (Class of 2023)

  • Resides in Georgia

  • Student athlete that have the desire to perform and motivate others on and off the field through teamwork and serving their surrounding communities.

  • Possesses strong leadership skills and a genuine concern for their community.

  • Possesses a 2.0 GPA or higher, and is a student athlete.

  • Planning for college or technical enrollment.

How to nominate your Scholar Athlete:

  • Complete the nomination form by clicking link below. (COMING MAY 2023)

 

The 2022-2023 School Year Application process will:

  • Open May 2023 

  • Deadline June 28, 2023 

  • Award date July 30, 2023 at Annual J. Blade Field Day (award recipients presence is required)
